Good morning,
Somewhere along the way, many of us learned that strength looks like pushing through, toughening up, staying busy, and staying guarded.
But real strength isn’t always about force.
To me, real strength is being soft enough to stay open even after you’ve been hurt, even when it would be easier to close yourself off.
I don’t look at softness as a weakness.
Softness means you’re still willing to feel.
Still willing to hope.
Still willing to love yourself and others even when it’s tempting to go numb.
